The site is down
An error page, a blank screen, or a hosting account that's been suspended.
Website rescue
For small businesses whose site has gone down, been hacked, or been left behind by a web designer who stopped replying. We find out what's wrong, fix it, and put it back in your name.
These are the problems we get asked to sort out most often.
An error page, a blank screen, or a hosting account that's been suspended.
Spam links, strange redirects, or a Google warning telling people to stay away.
No replies, and nobody else knows how the site was built or where it lives.
No logins for the site, the hosting or the domain, and no idea who has them.
It's in someone else's name, or about to expire with your email attached to it.
Enquiries going nowhere, or something broke after an update and never came back.
Pages that take an age to load on a phone, so visitors give up before they see you.
Tell us what's happening and we'll take a look.

Send the web address and what's happening. Anything you know about logins and hosting helps.
We look at what's broken, who controls the domain and hosting, and what can be saved.
You get a plain-English summary and a fixed price. Nothing starts until you say yes.
We get it working, test every form, and give you the logins so it's in your hands.
Most rescues end here. The site gets repaired, cleaned up and secured, and keeps the look and content you already have.
Once it's working, a care plan from £35/month keeps it hosted, backed up, updated and fixed, so it doesn't need rescuing again.
If patching would cost more than starting again, we'll say so. A redesign keeps your domain, best pages and Google traffic.

When we're done
Many rescues start because one person held all the keys. We make sure that doesn't happen again, including with us.
It depends on what's wrong, so the first check is free. You then get a fixed price before any work starts. If a rebuild would cost less than fixing the old site, we'll tell you.
Usually, yes. First we find out who holds the domain and the hosting. If they're in the old designer's name, we'll help you get them transferred to you, which can take a little time depending on the provider.
It slows things down, but it's common. We'll work out where the domain is registered and where the site is hosted, then help you recover access through those providers.
In most cases. We clean out the hack, close the gap it came through, update the software and ask Google to remove any warning. If the site is too far gone, rebuilding from a clean copy can be safer.
We can look at any of them. Sites on WordPress and Shopify can usually be repaired. Builders like Wix and Squarespace lock more away, so a fix there is often about getting your account back.
We reply within 24 hours on working days with what we've found from a first look. How long the fix takes depends on the problem, and you'll know before you agree to anything.
That's the first thing we protect. Your domain should be in your name, and we plan any change so your email keeps working.
Send the web address and a line about the problem. You'll hear back within 24 hours on working days.
